Byla to milost, jež naučila mé srdce bát se,
a milost mé obavy zahnala.
Jak drahocenná se mi ta milost zdála
v tu hodinu, kdy jsem poprvé uvěřil
Mnoha nebezpečími, útrapami a léčkami
už jsem úspěšně prošel.
Je to milost, jež mě sem bezpečně dovedla,
a milost mě dovede až domů
Hospodin mi zaslíbil dobro,
Jeho Slovo mi dává jistotu naděje.

Země se brzy rozpustí jako sníh

nebude nám zbývat méně dní k oslavě Boha,
než když jsme teprve začali.
